Great value hotel, our stay was really lovely.
The rooms were well-appointed and beautifully maintained, there was a very clean bed. The location was incredible, a short walk to Wartook Reservoir. Really enjoyed its restaurant for imaginative menu and good food at reasonable prices, nice bonus, especially when it's cold outside.

Staying here was a delight, especially with the outdoor dining area that offered a fine view while sizzling up some food on their BBQ. The room was super clean and oh-so-comfy.
The bathroom got a bit chilly, and the toilet flush wasn't the strongest. I also found the hot water flow to be as unpredictable as a local weather forecast. It'd be ace to have a smart TV with Netflix on hand, too!

It was just a great match for a getaway in Halls Gap with very good value for money. The campfire evenings were nice, with the hosts making sure the fire was always going while we enjoyed stargazing. Bring warm clothes for the chilly nights outside.

The location is very good, only 5 min walk to the village with restaurants and shops. Very quiet. Parking in front of the door. The kangaroos are coming into the compound. Plates, bowls and cutlery outside in the cupboard.
The furniture is quite old. A lot of excrement from the animals on the grass.

The gardens were beautiful, and the BBQ area made for some fun outdoor meals. Just a tiny note, a bit of a draft came through the door at night, but it didn't take away from the charm at all 😊
